Prayer Bulletin
The intention of this page is to advise on current, general matters for prayer. The weekly prayer bulletin publishes more specific needs. To be added to the e-mail list for the weekly prayer bulletin, or to request that your matter for praise or prayer be added to it, please contact pastor Keith.
Pray for the preaching of the Word, the presence of the Spirit, and for love and unity to continue with purity always.
Parents, elders, other teachers need prayer support as they rightly divide the word.
At present no Ruling Elders who are members of New Life are serving on our Session (board of elders). A commission of "borrowed elders" from other congregations are serving on a temporary basis. Pray for this "ad hoc" Session as it seeks to guide the congregation.
Our congregation has a benevolence fund, a.k.a. Deacon's fund. On the first Lord's day of each month, a special offering is taken for this fund. Pray according to James 1:5 regarding how we should use it to the glory of God.
Pray for our widows, widowers, and shut-ins. Pray for children in our midst who share in the life of the congregation without their parents doing so with them. "Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world." (James 1:27)
Pray for the relatives of New Life members and friends who are in military service, especially those overseas.
The New Life congregation has a Building Committee responsible for the renovation of the building God has given us. Lord willing, they will see this project through from planning to finishing touches. Let's support them in prayer.
